The development train runs faster than ever and the generation gap is a big gap in how we learn, manage and see the future.

I increased my willingness and interest to keep up with it and instead of hanging on with just a finger that kept me on the last carriage of development train while it raced on to the next station (which felt very uncomfortable by the way), I would sit in the first carriage, with premiun view to evolusion !! Good view - good feeling !!

I started to seek out new things, that the masses have not yet revealed that existed ....

Got the fall catalogue from the national study directory, where courses are offered in Ipad, photo book, photo organizing etc. It said Ipad is about to take over computers and lap-tops for recreational use ....

This knowledge millenials and younger chuckle of, taking classes in something and paying money for it!!! HA HA! They've got it with mother's milk practically! Dennis got ipad at kindergarten where they have appropriate educational games. William got ipad at school today as part of the school's modernization process and to better prepare young people for today's work and communicating in a society that is not prehistoric.

New research shows that the brain is about to change. Because young people are using it in a completely different way than other generations, they actually use greater part of the brain ..

This is not to LOL at the study department, they actually constitute a useful feature here. It is a chance to catch up for some generations so no one is left alone on the platform, where it is in fact lonely these days. But the agenda is rather to focus on the times we live in and have some humor and self-awareness about the generation gap. In a family we can truly live in different worlds! So people university, thumbs up, how people are upgrading themselves, a little shaky thumb there yet;)

Have you thought about that technology is moving faster than we can learn it?

That is why I previously was not so happy when I had to change my phone, I had just learned to really know it when a new version was launched!

How many have a phone they do not use half the features on? Only to call, SMS somehow?

Others really use their phones like small computers, killing battery as constantly being on at least 3 communication plattforms simultaneously + spotify, fb, skype calls mmmm.

I increased the willingness and interest to keep up with the pace and instead of hanging by just a finger to the last carriage of development train who raced on to the next station (which felt very uncomfortable by the way), I wanted to sit in the first carriage, with premiun view to evolusion !! Good view - good feeling !! Boy, things changed!

I started to seek out new things, that the masses have not yet revealed that existed .... But that's another story that I will share with you later;))))

Back to Course Catalogue: Language courses, that I understand, but there too we think differently. Some will learn in advance, prepare to perfection (which is impossible), we know that it is best to plant your feet firmly on the ground in the country you want to learn the language and just jump into daily life, ex. language travel has existed for 1000s of years (Viking Ferds;). I chose a different method on the plane last week. I played a language learning game and my Spanish vocabulary increased significantly in a fun way within a half hour and one week after it actually still sticks!! I could probably memorized vocabulary for half an hour with about the same results, but the key word here is that it was FUN! There must be a step in the right direction for a typical bursts learn form I have carried all my life. Learn much in a short periode of time I have always managed, but to get this lesson to stick in my mind is another matter ... But maybe this will change now? I should at least explore it since my children now learn in a different way than I did, and I owe both them and me to find a better solution;)

It is undeniably a technological generation gap now.

Two generations have the ability to learn themselves immediately. Their perception of how the Internet is used to collect and use information they need exceeds ours. Is there a program they understand that they need, they quickly start to try and fail and then to learn it themselfes. They are impatient, technologically prepared and will not wait until next week for the next chapter or course session.

While two generations on the other hand, does not possess the same enhanced ability to learn itself, but rather must be thaught. They're used to having a more passive role in the learning process in relation to the two generations that enters when and how they learn in a different way.

They are far from passive, but take action to absorb learning when ignorance stop them at some fields from progressing. This is all well and note if it matters to them. They are actioneers on its own merit!

Has anyone thought of that they are the ones who actually are our mentors to enter the future now? Mentors are no longer old men with long gray beard. There are young aspiring boys and girls with dauntless ideas, passion and vision. They are our children and grandchildren, they understand the future better than us without the life experience that we have. But the POWER COMBINATION that is? If we just start listening to each other and include each other in ways we might not have done before ?!

I stand humble, no longer puzzled but excited by this clever twist that unfolds.

Never has technology evolved faster than today and it goes faster and faster...

The way I see it, it is a choice to choose to run with it.... as good as you can at least ..;)

BE ACTIONEERS;))
